BALTIMORE, MD—Bah, humbug! Maryland has been ranked among the states with the least Christmas cheer in the U.S., according to a new report from CenturyLink.
Maryland came in at No. 41, which is actually an improvement from last year’s ranking of No. 46.
In compiling the list, CenturyLink analyzed Christmas-themed Google searches along with charitable giving, and how often residents online shop, stream, and tweet Christmas content.
New Hampshire topped the list as the No. 1 state for Christmas cheer. Washington D.C. came in last.
