Officer nearly struck by vehicle following Dunfield crash, running car stolen in Middle River

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

On Wednesday, November 30, an individual was terminated from their job in the 8000-block of Yellow Brick Road in Rosedale (21237). Police say the individual then became angry, hostile, and made offensive comments to the victim.

At just after 10:45 a.m. on Friday, December 9, officers responded to the unit block of Melkin Court in the Dunfield community (21236) for a report of a disturbance. While investigating a motor vehicle crash there, an officer was almost struck by a vehicle driven by the suspect. Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect without further incident.



At around 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, an individual stole a vehicle while it was running on a residential parking pad in the 600-block of West Kingsway in Middle River (21220).  The vehicle was later recovered.

At around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, a mutual assault involving a knife occurred between two roommates in the unit block of Rosedale Court in Rosedale (21237).  Both suspects remained on the scene and an arrest was made.

At around 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, an individual noticed that someone had broken into their storage shed in the 7900-block of Rossville Boulevard in Nottingham (21236).  The suspect had stolen various items.
