NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating nearly a dozen crimes that were reported recently.
Between September 11 and November 11, an individual broke into a storage unit in the 7900-block of Rossville Boulevard in Nottingham (21236). The suspect stole a portable power generator and three xBox gaming systems.
Between October 11 and November 10, an individual broke into a locked storage in the 7900-block of Rossville Boulevard in Nottingham (21236) by prying open the door. Three guitars were stolen. No video surveillance footage is available.
Between November 5 and November 11, an individual broke into a storage unit in the 7900-block of Rossville Boulevard in Nottingham (21236) and stole a camera, laptop, and other personal items.
At just after 6:45 p.m. on Friday, November 11, a female brandished a knife at a male victim while having a mental health crisis in the unit block of King Charles Circle in Rosedale (21237). The suspect was transported to a local hospital for emergency evaluation.
Between 11:30 p.m. on Friday, November 11 and 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, an individual broke into a commercial location in the 7600-block of Belair Road in Overlea/Fullerton (21236) via a front window. The suspect then stole an undisclosed amount of cash from a cash drawer before fleeing the scene.
At just before 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, five individuals burglarized a business in the 12200-block of Belair Road in Kingsville (21087). The suspects deceived the victim by having him show them a room that was for rent while another suspect broke into the owner’s room and stole cash from multiple desk drawers.
At just before 10:15 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, an individual broke into an apartment in the unit block of Debonair Court in Hillendale (21234) by kicking the front door. The suspect then stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
Overnight on Sunday, November 13, a tan Hyundai Elantra was stolen from the 1300-block of Halstead Road in Hillendale (21234). All keys accounted for and no suspect information is available.
At just after 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 13, a 2016 Hyundai Elantra was stolen from the 1100-block of Pelhamwood Road in Hillendale (21234). Vehicle keys are accounted for and police say payments were current.
At around 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 13, an individual was sleeping in his tent in the 8600-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237) when someone entered the tent, got on top of him, and strangled him to the point where he nearly passed out. The suspect then punched the victim before fleeing the scene.
