Councilman Marks: Silver Diner coming to THE AVENUE at White Marsh

WHITE MARSH, MD—A new diner will be coming to White Marsh.

Silver Diner will open an 8,125-square-foot location at THE AVENUE in White Marsh in 2024, according to Councilman David Marks.  This will be the restaurant group’s 23rd location.

Featuring executive chef and co-founder, Ype Von Hengst, Silver Diner provides a menu with exceptional choices from diner classics to vegan, plant-based, gluten-free and low calorie meals. Many of the ingredients used are sourced from local farms.

Von Hengst, who is known not only for his win on “Chopped” and other television food competitions, has won national awards for his healthy menu. While keeping its distinctive diner culture, this location will have a design layout to include a full open-air bar and patio. Silver Diner will be located adjacent to the new Barnes & Noble, according to Councilman Marks.

“With redistricting, we will be representing THE AVENUE at White Marsh – and it is with pride that I pass along news about the Silver Diner opening in this commercial center,” said Councilman Marks. “Thank you to Lisa Geiger and the Federal Realty team. THE AVENUE is a terrific destination in our area.”
