NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local burglaries and a robbery that were reported over the past week.
At some point over the past two weeks, a storage unit was broken into in the 7900-block of Rossville Boulevard in Nottingham (21236). The lock was broken off and an undisclosed amount of jewelry was stolen from inside the unit.
At around 7 a.m. on Friday, November 4, an individual reversed a vehicle into a bay door in the 7300-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237), entered the business, stole an undisclosed amount of cash and a check, and caused $9,500 in damages.
At around 12:45 p.m. on Friday, November 4, entered a residence in the unit block of Landrum Court in Parkville (21234) using a key and stole items from a nightstand drawer.
At just after 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, officers responded to the intersection of Seling Avenue and Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237) after four individuals robbed someone with a handgun. The suspects then walked to a nearby gas station and attempted to use the victim’s debit card. No injuries were reported.
At just after 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, officers responded to the 7600-block of Belair Road in Overlea (21206) for a report of a commercial burglary. The victim stated that, at sometime during the night, an individual entered the property, used a sledge hammer to damage and enter a shed door, and stole construction equipment and tools.
