NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an assault, a stabbing, and several burglaries that were reported over the past week.
Between 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 29 and 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 31, an individual entered a vacant residential property in the 4600-block of Southwood Avenue (21206) by breaking a window. The suspect stole numerous power tools and hand tools.
At around 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, officers responded to the 900-block of Manor Green Road in Middle River (21220). During the incident, an individual assaulted a police officer and a struggle ensued. During the altercation, the suspect attempted to grab a piece of broken mirror. The suspect was subdued and placed under arrest.
At just after 3 a.m. on Monday, October 31, an individual attempted to enter a residence in the unit block of Hawthorne Road in Middle River (21220) via a basement door. The suspect was interrupted by the occupant.
At just after 7 a.m. on Monday, October 31, a resident in the 8200-block of Oakleigh Road in Hillendale (21234) said that an individual came onto the property from the front, then came to the rear of the residence and stabbed him with a knife before then fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital.
At just before 12:30 p.m. on Monday, October 31, an individual broke into a residence in the 7300-block of Park Drive in Parkville (21234). The suspect stole several items then fled the scene.
