Joppa View Elementary School to receive to sign in 2023

PERRY HALL, MD—Joppa View Elementary School will soon be getting a new sign, the school’s PTA announced this week.

The new sign should be installed by the end of January 2023 and is currently being manufactured.

“A huge thank you to all the admins and BCPS staff that helped us along the way, our parents and students and PTA along with our Baltimore County Councilman David Marks who helped secure a $10,000 donation from a developer,” the Joppa View Elementary PTA said on Facebook.  “Another huge thank you to Julie Henn, Baltimore County Board of Education for all her efforts and guidance as well.”

“For years, I have advocated for JVE and all our schools countywide in need of digital signs as they are key tools for communication and increasing community engagement,” said Henn. “The Board has requested funds for digital signs countywide multiple years, but our requests were denied by County government. I appreciate the hard work of Mandi Holtzner and the PTA to secure private funding.”

Joppa View Elementary School is located at 8727 Honeygo Boulevard in Perry Hall (21128).
