ROSEDALE, MD—The ribbon has officially been cut at northeastern Baltimore County’s newest elementary school.
On Tuesday morning, students, faculty, parents, and elected officials joined together for the official ribbon-cutting for Rossville Elementary School.
One of five new schools that will have opened between 2018 and 2024, this school serves parts of Dunfield, Fullerton, Perry Hall, Rossville, and White Marsh.
Providing nearly 109,000 square feet of state-of-the-art learning space, the new school was built to help meet the educational needs of the fast-growing communities of northeast Baltimore County.
Built for $56 million, the new building provides room for 735 seats and currently enrolls 621 students. Baltimore County last celebrated the opening of a new school in 2018 with a ribbon-cutting at Honeygo Elementary School in Perry Hall.
Rossville Elementary School is located at 7649 Gum Spring Road in Rosedale (21237).
