Olszewski announces free flu clinics for Baltimore County residents

TOWSON, MD—Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski and Deputy Health Officer Della J. Leister, R.N. on Thursday announced the plans to expand the County’s annual flu clinic to a week-long event.

The free mobile clinics — that will include evening and weekend hours — will take place on October 22 through October 27, and will offer the flu vaccine to individuals 6 months old and up.

“As we continue combatting COVID-19, it is more important than ever to protect ourselves and our loved ones from the dangers of the seasonal flu,” Olszewski said. “We hope all our residents will take advantage of this free, convenient, and accessible way to help prevent getting sick this flu season.”

“The flu vaccine continues to be the best protection against seasonal flu,” said Baltimore County Deputy Health Officer Della J. Leister. “An aggressive flu season is predicted this year and we want to make it as convenient as possible for residents to be vaccinated.”
