REISTERSTOWN, MD—Calling all pet lovers…Dogfest is back!
Dogfest is the Baltimore Humane Society’s largest fundraiser and community event and takes place on their 365-acre property located at 1601 Nicodemus Road in Reisterstown (21136). Organizers are expecting 2,000 animal lovers in attendance for this pet-centric day full of games, contests, food and fun.
The event will be held 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 15th.
Dogs will be able to play games with their people or watch as other pups partake in the fun. There will be plenty of activities for the pups, including bowling, treasure hunt, 20-yard dash, bubble chase, paw painting, and fun in the sand. There will be opportunities to try out an agility or lure course, too! Plus, there will be some doggie demos too, There will be contests and prizes for: Best Halloween Costume, Best Kisser, Best Dancer, Best Owner/Pet Look-alike, Catch the Treat, Musical Sit and Best Pet Trick.
There will be pet themed arts & crafts, face painting, and a bounce house to engage the kids, pet rescue groups with adoptable animals, and loads of vendors and food trucks.
There will even be a Trunk or Treat for both kids and pets. The rain date will be Sunday, October 16 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
