Rosedale storage container burglarized, assault reported in Nottingham

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At just after 9 a.m. on Friday, October 7, three individuals followed someone who was leaving a commercial location in the 5600-block of Arnhem Road (21206).  When the victim entered an alley, two suspects pointed handguns at him and went through his pockets. No property was taken. A third suspect then appeared, pointed a laser attached to a gun at the victim, and then left the area. No property was taken from the victim.



Some time between noon on Friday, October 7 and 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, an individual broke into a commercial storage container in the 9700-block of Philadelphia Road in Rosedale (21237).  The suspect stole multiple chainsaws and leaf blowers.

At just after 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, two individuals wearing all black and driving a silver, two-door BMW with a black convertible top, pried open the front door to a location in the 8600-block of Pulaski Highway in Rosedale (21237) and attempted to steal items. They were unsuccessful, exited the store, and left in the BMW.

At just after 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, two individual entered a shop in the 8200-block of Perry Hall Boulevard in Nottingham (21236) demanding a refund from an employee. A physical altercation ensued and the suspects removed the victim’s wig. Shortly thereafter, the suspects were located and arrested.
