NOTTINGHAM, MD—Water will be shut off in portions of the Seven Courts community as officials deal with yet another water main break in the area.
On Wednesday evening, Councilman David Marks reported that water would be shut off along Seven Courts Drive.
Councilman Marks shared the following email from the Department of Public Works:
“Councilman Marks,
Yes, this break is in the same area (as the previous breaks). Our contractor is on site , Baltimore City has been notified they are sending a crew out to shutdown the water main so we can make the repair. Currently we are trying to locate parts for the repair.
This type of break is the reason we are replacing the prestressed water main. The connections to the concrete pipe continue to blow out. (We) will update later as work progresses.”
There has been no word on how long water service will be shut off.
