Edgewood man arrested following mass stabbing that left 2 dead in York County, Pa.

EDGEWOOD, MD—An Edgewood man is in police custody following a Monday evening mass stabbing in York County, Pennsylvania.

At just after 7:15 p.m. on August 22, Pennsylvania State Police responded to a reported stabbing that occurred at a residence on Firebox Court in Hopewell Township.



Emergency responders entered the residence to find a total of four victims. Christine Fousek, 34, and a 5-year-old girl were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other adults were treated on-scene and transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Troopers arrived on scene and took Keith Kretzer, 31, of Edgewood, into custody without incident.

Kretzer, reportedly Fousek’s boyfriend, is being charged with two counts of criminal homicide and two counts of attempted murder.
