Flood Warning issued for parts of Baltimore County, Harford County, severe storms possible on Monday

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for portions of Baltimore County and Harford County.

The warning will remain in effect until 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

The warning covers the following areas:

  • Middle River
  • Aberdeen
  • Havre De Grace
  • Aberdeen Proving Ground
  • Bel Air South
  • Essex
  • Bel Air North
  • Carney
  • Perry Hall
  • Rosedale
  • Rossville
  • White Marsh
  • Fallston
  • Bowleys Quarters
  • Riverside
  • Kingsville
  • Pleasant Hills
  • Jarrettsville
  • Perryman
  • Edgewood

At just before 9:30 a.m., radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rainfall. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.



Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area.

Additionally, large portions of the area ow face a marginal risk for severe storms on Monday afternoon/evening. Locally damaging wind gusts are the primary threat along with heavy rainfall.
