Flash Flood Warning issued for northeastern Baltimore County, southern Harford County

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for portions of Baltimore County and Harford County.

The warning covers the area shown in the graphics above and below and will remain in effect until 8:15 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Monday evening, respectively.

Doppler radar indicates thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area.



Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area.

Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

Residents are reminded to “turn around, don’t drown.”
