Police investigating local assault, three burglaries

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating an assault and three burglaries that were reported over the past week.

At 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, an individual broke into a location in the 7200-block of Belair Road in Overlea (21206) via an opening on the side and stole various hand tools.



At just before 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 24, a known individual assaulted someone in the 1000-block of Halstead Road in Hillendale (21234).  The suspect was located and arrested.

At just before 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, two known individuals made entry into a location in the 2700-block of Summit Avenue in Carney (21234). Both suspects were located and arrested.

Sometime between 9:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 25, an individual broke into a home in the 9200-block of Peach Blossom Avenue in Perry Hall (21128).  The suspect stole several pieces of jewelry, then fled the scene.
