NOTTINGHAM, MD—Several roads have been shut down and are impassible after strong storms brought down trees and power lines on Tuesday evening.

The hazardous conditions also forced White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company to shut down Tuesday’s food truck event.

Northern Baltimore County seems to have been hit the hardest, with multiple trees down and streets closed in the Sparks area.

More than 100,000 customers have lost power, according to BGE.

The following roads in and around the Nottingham area have been closed or are impassible:

  • Harford Road north of Northwind Road
  • East Joppa Road between Magledt Road and Simms Road
  • Chapel Road in front of Chapel Hill Nursery
  • Parts of Long Green Road, Long Green Pike, Manor Road, and Hydes Road
  • MD 152 and Route 40
  • Old Joppa Road between Jerusalem Road and Lins Road
  • Jerusalem Road between Old Joppa Road and Jericho Road

This is only a partial list.  Motorists should avoid travel unless absolutely necessary.
