BCPS, County officials to break ground for new replacement school for Red House Run Elementary

ROSEDALE, MD—BCPS Superintendent Dr. Darryl L. Williams and Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski will join members of the Board of Education of Baltimore County and the Baltimore County delegation in officially breaking ground for a new replacement school for Red House Run Elementary School.

The event will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29th.

The $59.7 million project will nearly double the size of the school and boost the school’s capacity from 486 seats to 775 seats. Designed to relieve overcrowding and to provide a modern learning center for the community, the new school is scheduled to open to students in 2024.

The address will be 1717 Weyburn Road in Rosedale (21237). The ceremony will be held near the corner of Burnfield Road and Avery Road at the far end of the old school’s ball fields.
