Councilman Marks provides update on conclusion of Seven Courts water project

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Baltimore County Councilman David Marks in Thursday provided an update on the Seven Courts area water project.

Currently, the contractor is prepping the new water main for testing and chlorination, which is scheduled to begin next week. This should take 2 to 3 weeks to complete.

Once this is finished, there will be abandonments, connections, and service transfers to the new water main. The county then estimates that the traffic circle will be rebuilt and resurfacing will occur on the affected areas of Seven Courts Drive and Proctor Lane in mid-August.

“I would like to thank the residents and motorists of this area for their patience,” said Councilman Marks. “This project will hopefully eliminate the chronic water breaks that have plagued this neighborhood.”
