HILLENDALE, MD—On Monday, a grand jury declined to file criminal charges against an officer with the Maryland-National Capital Police-Montgomery County Division who was robbed while attempting to purchase a Playstation 5, on May 5, in the 1100-block of Deanwood Road (21234).

Adnan Hussain shot two suspects after being robbed of the $440 he had brought with him to purchase the Playstation.

Two days earlier, on May 3, detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department were contacted regarding a separate armed street robbery that originated through Facebook Marketplace in the 1100-block of Deanwood Road. The victim in that case was robbed while attempting to sell three pairs of tennis shoes.

As detectives were investigating that case, the non-fatal shooting occurred involving Hussain. Currently, three suspects have been identified and are facing robbery and weapons charges.
