TOWSON, MD – The Baltimore County Blue Ribbon Commission on Ethics and Accountability will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 5:30 p.m., via Zoom.
The Commission was created by County Executive Johnny Olszewski to study Baltimore County’s existing ethics laws and laws concerning the Office of Inspector General, and provide recommendations to ensure existing policies align with national best practices and identify any additional policies, functions, or innovative practices to strengthen existing law.
In order to ensure the Commission can conduct its work independently, the University of Baltimore’s Schaefer Center for Public Policy will provide administrative and research support, facilitate Commission meetings, and prepare the draft final report.
Additional information about the Commission’s charge, its members and meetings can be accessed through the University of Baltimore’s Schaefer Center for Public Policy, Blue Ribbon Commission on Ethics and Accountability webpage found at https://blueribbonethics.ubalt.edu.
Information about the first meeting and all subsequent meetings will be available here.
