PARKVILLE, MD—A winning Powerball ticket that was sold in Carney last week still hasn’t been claimed, Maryland Lottery officials say.
The winning $50,000 ticket was sold on May 2 at J. Convenience, located at 8765 Satyr Hill Road (21234).
In all, 38 tickets worth $10,000 or more were either sold or redeemed in the seven days ending May 8, and the Maryland Lottery paid a total of more than $32.1 million in prizes during that span.
Draw game winners have 182 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prizes,
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.
