GLEN ARM—Crews are on the scene of a house fire in Glen Arm.

The fire occurred on Monday morning in the 12900-block of Kanes Road.

A tanker strike team was requested to assist with the blaze, which broke out in the basement.

No injuries were reported, however the Providence Volunteer Fire Company says that a dog perished in the fire.
