NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Watch for northern Baltimore County.
The watch will be in effect from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Friday morning.
Forecasters say sub-freezing temperatures as low as 31 degrees are possible overnight.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
Residents should take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.
