COCKEYSVILLE, MD—A GoFundMe page has been established by the family of a teen who was killed on Interstate 83 this week.
At around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20, KingDavid Okolo, 17, was stuck and killed by a tractor-trailer on I-83 in Cockeysville.
The GoFundMe page was started by his brother, Michael Okolo.
“He was just 17 year [sic] old and a student at Dulaney High School,” Okolo writes. “He was an aspiring and ambitious student with goals of doing marketing, played the guitar, and had an amazing personality.”
“He was just admitted to University of Maryland, College Park,” Okolo continues. “We the family, are heartbroken, devastated and emotionally scarred by this tragedy. We will appreciate any help so that he can be buried quickly. This is hard to understand, but God knows best as to why this happened. Please keep our family in your prayers.”
The GoFundMe page can be viewed online here.
