NOTTINGHAM, MD—As temperatures soar above normal in the Baltimore area on Thursday, forecasters say storms may develop as well.
As a cold front passes through the region, the National Weather Service says strong to severe thunderstorms are possible, especially along the I-95 corridor north of the DC metro area as well as the adjacent waters.
Storms would likely fire up between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Damaging wings would be the main impacts from any storms that develop.
Residents should stay tuned to local forecasts.
