Winning $100K Powerball ticket sold in Rosedale

ROSEDALE, MD—A winning Powerball ticket has been sold in Rosedale.

Maryland Lottery officials say someone purchased a winning $100,0007 ticket for Monday’s Powerball drawing.  Even though no one hit the jackpot, there were 10,232 winning tickets ranging from $4 to $100,007 sold in our Maryland, with 2,046 winning tickets with prizes doubled due to the x2 Power Play multiplier.



Lottery officials are searching for the lucky player who bought the third-tier winning ticket with Power Play worth $100,007 at King Liquors, located at 8226 Pulaski Highway in Rosedale. The winning numbers were 2, 32, 39, 46 and 69; the Powerball was 6. The multi-line ticket matched four of the first five numbers and the Powerball number on one of its lines, and the Power Play multiplier doubled the $50,000 third-tier prize to $100,000. The ticket also had another winning line worth $7.

The jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $246 million for the Wednesday, April 6 drawing with an estimated cash option of $157.1 million. This year, including this win, there have been 21 third-tier winning Powerball tickets sold in Maryland.

Lottery officials encourage all winners to sign the backs of their tickets immediately and put them in a safe location. Winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

Powerball drawings are televised at 11:22 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays on WBAL-TV.
