Baltimore County Police Department to hold community hiring event on Saturday

DUNDALK, MD—On Saturday, February 26, 2022, the Baltimore County Police Department will be hosting a Community Hiring Event in recognition of Black History Month.

The event will be held 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on 2/26 at Sollers Point Multipurpose Center.

On-site written tests will be administered as well as agility tests. Organizers say this event provides community members the opportunity to get an up close look at what it takes to become a member of law enforcement.

Specialized Units within the Baltimore County Police Department will also be on hand. Starting at 10:00 a.m., the BCoPD Recruitment Team will have an Oculus VR system set up that will allow individuals to experience policing virtually. Later in the day, a panel discussion in recognition of Black History Month will be held. BCoPD DEI Director Kelly Fenner will be the panel moderator for the discussion.

Sollers Point Multipurpose Center is located at 323 Sollers Point Road in Dundalk (21222).
