KINGSVILLE, MD—A hiker sustained serious injuries in Kingsville on Tuesday.
At just before noon, crews from White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company, Kingsville Volunteer Fire Company, Fallston Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Company, and the Baltimore County Fire Department worked to rescue a person with serious injuries from Gunpowder Falls State Park near Belair Road.
WMVFC reports that the hiker sustained an open leg fracture and was extricated from a cliff in the woods to an Advance Life Support (ALS) ambulance.
The entire rescue operation took close to two hours.
There has been no update on the hiker’s condition.
