NOTTINGHAM, MD—Water service will be shut off for several hours in the Belmont South community on Sunday.
On Sunday morning February 20, the Department of Public Works will shut down the water on the master meter to the Belmont South townhomes. This action is being taken so that a plumber can make repairs to a resident’s private water line within the community, according to Councilman David Marks.
Officials say the shutdown will affect about 300 services in this community of townhomes.
The shutdown will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Sunday and is expected to last no longer than 4 hours.
