Governor Hogan orders flags lowered to honor fallen Harford County first responder

ANNAPOLIS, MD—Governor Larry Hogan ordered the U.S. and Maryland flags lowered to half-staff on Thursday.

The flags are being lowered to honor EMT Wayne Fisher of the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Foundation, assigned to Darlington Volunteer Fire Company.



Fisher died in the line of duty on February 6, 2022.

The flags will be returned to full-staff at sunset on Thursday.
