HARFORD COUNTY, MD—Two police officers who were killed in the line of duty were remembered in Harford County on Thursday.
Senior Deputy Patrick Dailey and Deputy First Class Mark Logsdon were shot on February 10, 2016, as they responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Panera Bread in Abingdon.
The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company sounded their siren at 12 p.m. on Thursday to initiate a countywide moment of silence. The Harford County flag was also flown at half-staff.
“We gather every year to remember Senior Deputy Patrick Dailey and Deputy First Class Mark Logsdon and their sacrifice for our community,” County Executive Barry Glassman said. “Harford County will never forget our fallen heroes, their families, and all those who risk their lives to keep us safe.”
