Shooting reported at Baltimore County high school

CATONSVILLE, MD—Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Tuesday afternoon at a Baltimore County high school.

At around 3:00 p.m. on February 8, forty-five minutes after school was dismissed for the day, a Baltimore County School Resource Officer reported a shooting in the back parking lot of Catonsville High School.

The victim, a 16-year-old male student at the school, was taken to an area trauma center with non-life threatening injuries.

As detectives follow up on leads in this case, the public is asked to contact officers with any information they may have about the person responsible for committing this crime.
