Parkville business robbed, homeowner confronts would-be Carney burglar

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past week.

At around 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 21, an individual stole items from several closed kiosks at White Marsh Mall, located in the 8200-block of Perry Hall Boulevard (21236).

At 6:15 a.m. on Monday, January 24, an individual arrived home in the 4100-block of Slater Avenue in Nottingham (21236) and saw that his backdoor window had been broken.  Several items were stolen from the residence.



At around 9:45 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to the unit block of Winkel Court in Rosedale (21237) regarding a weapons discharge call. The suspect was identified and arrested.

At just before midnight on Monday night, an individual broke into a residence in the 9700-block of Red Clover Court in Carney (21234) and attempted to steal a dirt bike. The  homeowner confronted the suspect, who then fled on foot.

At 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, an armed individual entered a business located in the 8200-block of Harford Road in Parkville (21234) and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene.
