Parkville woman claims $2 million Maryland Lottery scratch-off prize

PARKVILLE, MD—A joyful Parkville resident brought her best friend with her to Maryland Lottery headquarters to join the celebration as she claimed a $2 million payout on a VIP Club scratch-off.

The 41-year-old anonymous winner was all smiles and filled with laughter while waiting in the Winner’s Circle with a copy of her top-prize winning instant ticket in hand. The Baltimore County woman found her big win on the $30 instant ticket at a 7-Eleven store in Nottingham.

The VIP Club scratch-off went on sale in February 2021. Players can search for one remaining $2 million top prize, three unclaimed $50,000 prizes, and more than 420,000 smaller prizes of $30 to $5,000.

The game is one of four $30 scratch-offs now on sale statewide.

The 7-Eleven located at 4139 East Joppa Road in Nottingham County also receives a $2,000 bonus for its role in selling a $2 million top-prize winning scratch-off.
