Maryland Lottery scratch-off sold on Joppa Road delivers $2 million prize

NOTTINGHAM, MD—A Maryland Lottery scratch-off ticket sold in the Nottingham area has created a new millionaire.

Lottery officials say a winning $2 million VIP Club ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 4139 East Joppa Road (21236).

In all, 32 players across the state won or claimed prizes of $10,000 or more, and the Maryland Lottery paid more than $29.1 million in prizes in the seven days ending January 16th.



In addition to the $2 million ticket, a winning $133,586 FAST PLAY Payday ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 8601 Honeygo Boulevard in Nottingham and a winning $30,036 KENO ticket was sold at the Sheetz located at 601 Pulaski Highway in Joppa.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.

Draw game winners have 182 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prizes, and scratch-off winners have 182 days from the announced end-of-game date.
