NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Baltimore area.
The advisory covers all of Baltimore County and Baltimore City and will be in effect from 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon through 1 a.m. on Monday. This Winter Weather Advisory replaces the earlier Winter Storm Watch as expected snowfall and ice accumulation totals have decreased.
Forecasters say mixed precipitation is expected throughout the Baltimore are with total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of around one tenth of an inch.
Winds gusts of up to 45 mph are also expected. Motorists should plan on slippery road conditions.
A Coastal Flood Advisory is also in effect for southern Baltimore County and Baltimore City.
