ROSEDALE, MD—Community members are invited to help select a name for Baltimore County’s newest public elementary school.
The school, located in the northeast area of the county, is scheduled to open for students in September 2022.
An online survey will be open to the community from Tuesday, January 11, through Thursday, January 27.
The public will have the opportunity to vote for one of the two top responses from a survey conducted in December 2021.
The top two names from the previous poll were Gum Spring Elementary School and Rossville Elementary School.
The name that receives the most support in the survey will be recommended for approval by the Board of Education of Baltimore County.
School naming is governed by BCPS Board Policy and Rule 7520.
The survey is available online here.
