Suspect charged in connection with August murder of Carney man

CARNEY, MD—Detectives have charged a suspect in connection with the killing of a 91-year-old man in Carney back in August.



Gary W. Parrish, 38, has been charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Norman Albert on Hines Road (21234).

At just after 12 p.m. on August 19, officers responded to the 9200-block of Hines Road to check on the welfare of the occupant.

Upon gaining entry into the residence, officers located Albert deceased.

Parrish has been charged with his murder and is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
