PERRY HALL, MD—Councilman David Marks on Wednesday morning announced that the Joppa Road bridge has been reopened following nearly a year of repair work.
The bridge was closed for emergency repairs back in January. It was initially expected to reopen in June, then in November.
Many of the project’s delays were driven by nationwide supply chain issues and a lack of materials.
“Many thanks to the Department of Public Works for its work, and to motorists and neighbors for their patience,” Councilman Marks said on Wednesday.
