NOTTINGHAM, MD—The holiday season will be very merry and bright for a few lucky lottery players in Nottingham, Middle River, and Joppa.
In all, 32 players across the state won or claimed prizes of $10,000 or more, and the Maryland Lottery paid nearly $30 million in prizes in the seven days ending December 5th.
Lottery officials say a winning $50,000 Power 5s scratch-off ticket was sold at the Giant located at 7944 Honeygo Boulevard in Nottingham, a winning $10,000 Lucky Numbers FAST PLAY ticket was sold on December 2 at the Royal Farms located at 12545 Eastern Avenue in Middle River, and a winning $12,000 KENO ticket was sold December 4 at the Royal Farms located at 2620 Mountain Road in Joppa.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.
Draw game winners have 182 days from the date of a drawing to claim their prizes, and scratch-off winners have 182 days from the announced end-of-game date.
