Nottingham woman claims $30,000 top prize on Maryland Lottery scratch-off

NOTTINGHAM, MD—A $30,000 top-prize has been claimed on a Maryland Lottery scratch-off, making the holidays even merrier for a Nottingham military member and her family.

The 20-year-old routinely plays a variety of scratch-off games with her grandmother. Her lucky Diamond Bingo scratch-off provided their first big win, she told Maryland Lottery officials.

The Baltimore County winner bought her lucky ticket at Bargain Outlet in Baltimore, finding lucky numbers that formed an “X” in the fourth bingo card to win the top prize.

The store, located at 4506 Erdman Avenue, will receive a $300 bonus from the Maryland Lottery for selling a top-prize winning scratch-off of $30,000.
