NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for the Baltimore area.
The advisory covers southern Baltimore County and Baltimore City and will remain in effect until 1 p.m. on Friday afternoon, especially around the time of high tide.
Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level is expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding.
Forecasters say much of the Mid-Atlantic will be seeing significant precipitation over the next day.
Residents in the Middle River and Bowley’s Quarters areas should remain alert.
