Pedestrian injured in White Marsh crash dies

WHITE MARSH, MD—A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday in the White Marsh area has died.

On Friday afternoon, the Baltimore County Police Department said officials were investigating a now-fatal pedestrian crash that occurred at just after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, in the 8200-block of Town Center Drive (21236).



The pedestrian, 30-year-old Jeffrey Chmielewski, of Joppa, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday after being struck by a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu as he attempted to cross the road.  Police say he did not use a crosswalk.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the factors involved in this fatal crash.
