BALTIMORE, MD—Maryland Lottery official are looking for the lucky player who won a $2.6 million progressive jackpot on Thursday, October 21, in the $20 FAST PLAY Diamond Mine game.
The lucky ticket was sold at Pulaski Liquor Emporium located at 6425 Pulaski Highway in Baltimore. This is the third progressive jackpot winner in the game and the largest prize won yet in any of the Maryland Lottery’s FAST PLAY games. The full amount of the prize, which is printed on the ticket, is $2,620,246.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location until the prize can be claimed. Winners have 182 days from the date of the drawing to claim prizes.
Instructions on claiming prizes in person or by mail are available online here. Players must redeem prizes larger than $25,000 by mail or at Maryland Lottery headquarters in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330 in Baltimore. The Maryland Lottery’s Claims Center in Baltimore is open by appointment only (no walk-ins). Appointments can be scheduled online here.
The lucky retailer also has reason to celebrate the big win. For selling a top-prize or progressive-jackpot winning ticket of $100,000 or more, Pulaski Liquor Emporium will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Maryland Lottery. The same store also sold a $10,000-winning Diamond Mine ticket on October 20.
