BALTIMORE, MD—The University of Louisville has announced plans to retire the number of former quarterback Lamar Jackson.
The ceremony will take place prior to their November 13 game against Syracuse, according to WHAS.
Jackson joins legendary Baltimore Colts’ quarterback Johnny Unitas as the only other player in Louisville history to have his number retired. Unitas’ No. 16 was retired in 2003.
Earlier this week, Jackson thought he was meeting with the media, but Louisville had other plans for the Ravens’ star QB.
