Stabbing reported in Middle River, Nottingham business burglarized

NOTTINGHAM, MD—Police are investigating several local crimes that were reported over the past few days.

Sometime between 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15 and 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, an individual entered a residence in the unit block of Volz Avenue in Middle River (21220) via an open window.  The suspect stole a firearm, then fled the scene.



At just before 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, September 19, an individual broke into a business in the 8600-block of Walther Boulevard in Nottingham (21236) by smashing a front door window pane. The suspect stole cartons of cigarettes and then fled.

Sometime between 1:15 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday, September 22, individuals stole multiple copper fittings from a locked storage container located in a business parking lot in the 6900-block of Golden Ring Road in Rosedale (21237). The suspects then stole a trailer with additional pipe fittings.

At just after 3:45 a.m. on Sunday, an individual got into a verbal altercation with a known individual in the 9900-block of Tailspin Lane in Middle River (21220).  The victim was stabbed during the altercation and sustained a non-life threatening injury.
