Flood Warning issued for Baltimore area

NOTTINGHAM, MD—The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Baltimore area.

The warning covers all of Baltimore County and will be in effect until 2 p.m. on Thursday.

At just after 8 a.m., Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers and isolated
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.



Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.

Motorists should use caution and remember to “turn around, don’t drown.”
