NOTTINGHAM, MD—Delegate Carl Jackson and Councilman David Marks will hold a town hall meeting in the Dunfield community later this month.
The outdoor meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in the Dunfield Town Homes leasing office lot.
The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss building a new Dunfield Community Center.
“I have long been an advocate for community centers and believe strongly in the transformative effect that they can have upon a community,” said Delegate Jackson. “With the increase of young families with children to the area, now is the perfect time to invest in the future of the Dunfield, Belmont, and surrounding communities and in the quality of living of its residents.”
“This densely-populated part of northeastern Baltimore County would be well-served by a community center and stronger police presence that engages young people,” said Councilman Marks. “Dunfield, Belmont, and other neighborhoods would really benefit from this concept.”
Also on-hand will be Senator Kathy Klausmeier, Delegate Harry Bhandari, Delegate Joseph Boteler III, and a representative from County Executive Johnny Olszewski’s office.
The Dunfield Town Homes leasing office lot is located at 55 Insley Way (21236).
