KINGSVILLE, MD—A Wednesday evening rescue is under way in Kingsville.
At around 6:45 p.m., swift water rescue teams were trying to reach an injured person on the Big Gunpowder River.
A male reportedly fell and became wedged between two rocks in the area of the 11200-block of Belair Road.
The rescue operation involves multiple land, ATV, swift water rescue teams, and a medevac helicopter.
The male victim has been rescued and is being transported for treatment.
There has been no update on his condition.
